ALICE

ALICE is the acronym for “A Large Ion Collider Experiment”, one of the largest experiments in the world designed to study the physics of strongly interacting matter at extreme energy densities. Hosted at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research) ALICE relies on an international collaboration of more than 1.900 physicists, engineers and technicians from 174 physics institutes in 39 countries across the world.

Our mission was to redesign ALICE’s website and make it more dynamic and modern. Throughout the process we had in mind to balance today’s top visual trends with UX features to create a positive user experience.
