Babo Koro is a music band who made its debut with the album titled “Sisyphus” on March 2019. Their compositions echo voices from the Balkans and the Mediterranean. Traditional Greek music, balkan ornaments, polyphonies, swing feel, gypsy wandering, rock bluntness, all meet in Babo Koro's colourful mosaic.
We were asked to design a new logo for the band. Our concept was inspired by the band's name, "Babo", which means the village's oldest woman. We aimed to mix modern and traditional in a eye-captivating composition to reflect Babo Koro’s vivid spirit and music.
